HafeziCapital was retained by a Washington, D.C. investor group to develop and implement a strategic business plan for a “start-up” GLBT personal dating service. Working closely with the founders, we formulated, drafted and implemented a blueprint for the creation and operation of Mixology (DC). The appropriate business structure was selected, the necessary licenses and governmental authorizations obtained, the management team was assembled, and operating and employee manuals designed and implemented. The focus of the process was to scale Mixology’s services to a national scale. Given that Mixology is a very customer centric company, developing a model that was empirical for their national success was critical to the overall brand expansion. Mixology’s success is based on the notion of bringing the right people together. The business strategy was aligned with these values in mind and all touch points and marketing content where structure to best identify the key differentiators to the marker place. HafeziCapital prepared a realistic 2-year budget and put in place an accounting system. All necessary intellectual property rights were secured prior to launch.
